Specializing in the treatment of trauma

Sometimes it feels like no matter how much you want to move forward, something inside keeps holding you back. It might be anxiety that won’t ease up, memories that pop up out of nowhere, or patterns in relationships that leave you feeling stuck or hurt. Trauma isn’t just something that happened in the past-it lives in your body and mind. It affects how you feel, react, and connect with others. Whether it’s PTSD, childhood trauma, or painful memories that feel impossible to let go of, healing is possible. EMDR can help you process the past so that it no longer controls your present—and together we can create a new chapter of life that feels more like yours.

Hi, I’m Chloe

Registered Clinical Counsellor & Certified emdr therapist

I'm passionate about working alongside of people who want to build healthier relationships with themselves and others. If you're looking for a no BS approach using proven psychotherapy methods, you've come to the right place.

I offer structured and supportive treatment using clinical expertise and a personalized, relational approach. I work from an attachment focused lens using a combination of trauma processing and behavioural skills. Together, we learn strategies to identify repetitive relationship patterns and move forward with having the relationships you deserve. Whether it’s dysfunctional family patterns, toxic relationships or narcissistic abuse-I'm here to help you heal.

My aim as a therapist is to create a safe and non-judgemental environment in which you feel comfortable talking about any thoughts, feelings, or experiences, regardless of how embarrassing or shameful you believe them to be, and be met with acceptance, warmth, and respect.

I not only aim to help people cope with distress and difficulties they are experiencing, but also strive to help them develop an awareness and understanding of emotions, thoughts, and the meaning underlying their struggles.

Above all, I place importance on building strong, authentic and trusting relationships with the people I work with.

My goal is to ensure you feel heard and respected, that we are always collaboratively working together, and that I am always acting in your best interests.

I don’t take a cookie cutter approach with clients.

Instead, I aim to create a new therapy with each person, based on their unique personality and needs. While I am trained in various techniques and approaches that are evidence based and known to be effective in improving mental health, I tailor these approaches to fit with each unique client.

Together we can:

  • Alleviate memories you struggle to let go of. These memories may make you feel guilty, ashamed or afraid.

  • Make sense of risky or impulsive behaviors

  • Reconnect to parts of you that were lost due to trauma

  • Restore your ability to trust yourself and others

  • Free yourself from guilt, shame and constant fear

  • Feel empowered and in control again
